AGROFORESTRY
Fazenda da Toca – Itirapina/SP
In the Agroforestry itinerary we will visit the main forest gardening areas of Fazenda da Toca, providing visitors with an understanding of the experiences and researches in agroforestry systems focused on large scale.
With this, we expect the visitor to become acquainted with the theme, understanding the challenges and potentials of large scale forest gardens, which can be an alternative for healthy food production, forest restoration, climate change and a greater resilience of species.
Duration: 6h
From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm – with 1h lunchtime
What to wear/ take:
Closed shoes (sneakers or boots); comfortable pants; cap or hat; repellent; sunscreen and a bottle of water
Age group: starting at the age of 14.
This route is what we call open doors, that is, those coming alone or in few people can schedule a date. Check here to know our availability for this visit.
